Originally from Poteet, Rillie Moseley lived in Pleasanton, Texas in her later years. She showed in San Antonio at Glasser's Art Gallery through the early 1980s. Moseley was a contemporary and friend of Helen Hunter, and likely painted with her, or studied with her. Hunter's influence can be seen in Moseley's cactus paintings.
