Cindy Burleson is an artist based in Austin, Texas. She studied at the University of Texas, and has been sculpting since 1974. She specializes in wildlife and western themes, creating figures in wax and clay ranging from inches in scale to 150% life-size. Often working together with her husband Terry, she is known for her monumental commissioned sculptures such as The University of Texas Longhorn Band 100th Anniversary Commemorative Sculpture; The Bird's Fort Treaty sculpture titled "At Peace", located in Euless, Texas; and the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
