Jennings Sportsman Pinball Slot Machine. c.1930s, mechanical pinball machine titled “Sportsman”, what is extremely unusual about this model is that the playing field displays stream fishing scene as compared to more common models which display a small game hunting scene. The Sportsman is a 5 cent coin operated mechanical pinball machine which has abattery operated electronic payout mechanism; to win credits or coins you must shoot the “Skill Shot”, then shoot any combination of point spots as displayed on the banner, when the game is complete, the lever on the right side is pressed down activating the payout mechanism. In a walnut case on turned wooden legs, has keys, not currently in working condition. Signed on the side of the case with a decal for O.D. Jennings & Co. and on a paper label inside of the case which is numbered “No. 10656”. Measures 41.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 41 in. deep.
