Figure drawing at end of text showing "Disposition of the Characters when the Curtain falls." 5½x3¼, bound in recent gilt-lettered brown cloth, new endpapers. "Duncombe's Edition." The first pictorial representation of the monster in print.Early and rare Frankenstein playbill, providing a narrative for an 1826 staged theatrical production "as it is performed at the London Theatres." Preceded only by the first two editions; this item actually precedes the scarce third London edition by five years. Lists characters and the actors who played them, listing "the Monster" with six asterisks only.
