This lot contains 11 pieces of jasper Wedgewood, three are early pieces. There are four small fluted sweet dishes (black, Portland blue, royal blue and promise), two round sweet dishes (both in pale blue), a small green pitcher, a small green bowl, a black basalt demitasse cup, a small black basalt jar, and a small royal blue lidded circular box. The small fluted sweet dishes all have a different color amphora jugs in the center. The two round sweet dishes have different designs in the center, one a portrait of John F. Kennedy and the other with a ship and inscription of “Mayflower· 1620-1970 ·”. The green pitcher and bowl, and the small circular lidded box all depict classical motifs. The black basalt demitasse cup has no motif present. The black basalt jar has floral garlands connected by a ram’s head which dangles classical motifs from its mouth. Each piece of Wedgewood, has Wedgewood stamped on the base along with Made in England however this is not completely visible in all pieces. There are other stamps on the bases of each piece as well. The small fluted sweet dishes and the two round sweet dishes come with their boxes. The approximate sizes of each item are as follows: Small fluted sweet dishes: 3 x 3/8". Round sweet dishes: 4-3/8 x 1/2". Small green pitcher: 4-1/8 x 3-1/2" at its widest point. Small green bowl: 3-1/8 x 2". Small black basalt demitasse cup: 2-1/8 x 2-3/4" at its widest. Black basalt jar: 3-1/2 x 3-7/8". Royal blue lidded circular dish: 1-5/8 x 2-7/8". Overall the pieces are in good condition. The two green pieces have the most wear visible to the piece is on the exterior and interior of the objects. There is discoloration, staining, and cracks. The small sweet dishes also have slight staining on them. (Good - Very Good). Largest: 4-1/4'' T.
