FIRE BRIGADE HONOR BADGE, FIRST CLASS
Third Reich-era Fire Brigade Honor Badge, First Class, 1 1/4" dia., of pinback construction, consisting of a white enameled cross, with red enameled flames on each arm and a mobile swastika at center, surrounded by a ring with the legend: "Fur Verdienste Im Feuerloschweser" ("For Merit in Fire Fighting"). The badge is marked on the back as being manufactured by W. Kolwitz of Bergedorf, with the RZM number "M9/72". The badge bears slight surface wear, else very good.
