10th-11th century AD. A mixed group of bronze belt fittings comprising: a buckle with kidney-shaped loop and heart-shaped plaque; four plaques with tongue-shaped addorsed ends; two tongue-shaped strap ends; a waisted buckle plate with slots. 69 grams total, 44-70mm (1 3/4 - 2 3/4"). From an important private London collection; formed in the 1970s and 1980s. [8]
