Barrel stamped at breech "Modelo Argentino. 1879 E. N.". Has original cleaning rod. Right side of barrel has bayonet lug. Top of walnut stock is stamped "R". Wood is in excellent plus condition, oil finished, with a couple of minor dings. Many Argentine M1879 Rolling Blocks were refinished by the Argentine Arsenal before being resold. Barrel and bands retain 95% of this arsenal reapplied finish. Frame and trigger guard retain approximately 85% of the reapplied finish. Strong clean bore and perfect action.
