Two stage smoothbore barrel with bayonet lug mounted on bottom, near muzzle. Top flat inscribed "No. 30 LKE". Rounded banana lockplate stamped with a proofmark "HMK" over a dog. Steel furniture and ramrod. Barrel retained by three steel bands, rear band stamped "*/H" on bottom, French Charleville style sideplate, buttplate and trigger guard. Walnut stock with red finish and cutout on left side for cheek. Complete with later leather sling. Very good condition; all steel components retain grey lightly pitted patina.
