Familiar third model Brown Bess type furniture with full sideplate and Pratt improved ramrod ferrules. Full length walnut stock. Fair condition; barrel retains a brown patina with pitting overall. Flintlock mechanism a contemporary replacement. Brass retains an unpolished patina, sideplate with scattered marks and rear trigger guard tang has been repaired. Stock is good with scattered marks, a few splinters along forend missing on both sides, some chipping around sideplate, lock and barrel keys and one area of wood-fill behind lock tang.
