Description

Refurbished and crated by Mitchell's Mauser. This gun virtually retains all the reapplied restored finished as well as a new stock. Chambered is dated 1939. Marked "243" code. Matching numbers can be found on barrel, bolt, safety, frame, forend cap, barrel band, trigger guard, fore plate and buttplate. The Waffenamt "WaA135" is stamped on buttplate. Nazi eagle stamped on barrel and left side of frame. Fine bore and perfect action. Comes in wooden crate with a sling and paperwork. Excellent example of the standard arm the German forces used during World War II. Serial Number-2277; Manufacturer-Mauser; Model-98; Caliber-8x57mm; Barrel Length-24"; FFL Status-Curio & Relic;
