Description
Standard features include octagon barrel, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, and two piece walnut grips. This revolver was part of the 5,000 revolvers delivered to the government in September of 1865. Left side grip has perfect cartouche. Military inspector stamp "B" on all major parts. All matching serial numbers. The top and left side of the frame retain 70% of the high polish blue finish, balance grey patina with flashes of blue and some minor salt and pepper on right side of frame. Grips are excellent to near mint. Fine, untouched, scarce Civil War era revolver.
