Bottom of rib marked with very small import mark from Canada directly in front of forearm. Casehardened boxlock action with rocker panel engraved borders and both side marked "PARKER BROS.". Extractors, automatic safeties and double triggers. Partially figured walnut straight stock with checkered panels on each side of wrist, silver shield escutcheon on each side and makers hard rubber butt pad marked "PARKER/BROTHERS around portrait of a dog in relief. Splinter forearm with Deeley release marked with patent date of 1878 with diamond section checkered panels. Very good condition. All numbers match. Barrels retain about 70-80% original blue finish with heavy thinning on sides and scattered scratches and marks from use. Bores are excellent and shiny. Action retains 60-70% bright case colors with some edge wear and wear on bottom and a few light scratches. Action is very tight, trigger guard retains traces of original finish inside bow, stock very good with some light edge wear, scattered scratches and initials "DGH" lightly scratched into the panel on left side behind action. Splinter forearm shows some wear to checkering and light marks.
