Manufactured 1902. Standard features include full round barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, walnut stock and rifle buttplate. A previous owner spent some serious money and has this rifle completely restored and engraved. The barrel and tube retain virtually all of their high polish blue finish the resembles the Colt royal blue, as seen on a Python. Muzzle end of barrel features scroll engraving extending 3-1/2" from muzzle. Front and rear sights, blued bolt, magazine tube cap, both sides of frame and barrel band are engraved. Engraved around barrel address that is still razor sharp. The rear barrel upper portion 7-1/2" from breech. Magazine tube extending 5-1/2" from muzzle is engraved. Frame, hammer, lever and forend cap have been bone-charcoal case colored. The wood has been refinished in a high gloss. Fits perfectly flush with no cracks or chips. Sports a tang sight. Strong, clean rifled bore and perfect action. Case hardening is 100% intact. A simply stunning, upgraded 1894 rifle with a great bore. Beautiful to look at and should be fun to shoot.
