Item Details

Description

This wonderful early chest is made out of English Pine. It has carved decorative circles in the front. The original key is present with old wire repairs around part of the key. The lock is no longer present. The hinges are 18th century, mix-matched reattached with modern screws. There is some shifting of the wood that left a few gaps but could possibly be shifted back into proper position. Refinished. Measures 39 x 18 x 24-¾ inches.
