Manufactured in 1906. This early pistol features the high polish factory blue finish with bright lighter blue finish small parts. Has the early Colt black hard rubber grips with Colt pony and "Colt" with a scalloped border. Left side slide has the early pony and circle at rear. Overall this pistol retains approximately 90% original factory finish. Some thinning on front grip strap, rear grip strap is grey patina, brilliant fire blue on safety and sides of trigger, grips are excellent to near mint. Balance of pistol has just the usual high edge contact wear on slide and muzzle. Has perfect action and has a strong near mint bore.
