Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. Kling Billiards Table, c. 1910First built by Brunswick in 1907, the Kling is considered by many to be the pinnacle of Brunswick’s table design and construction. Assembled on six massive elephant legs, the Kling is decorated with superb mother of pearl and holly inlay on a walnut frame.Dimensions: 32 in. high x 108 in. wide x 54 in. deep Frame: Circassian Walnut Inlay: White and Black Holly, Mother of PearlNote: The Kling table is the namesake of famed Chicago Cubs player and pool hall rounder, Johnny Kling. The last catcher to win a World Series with the cursed Cubs, Kling was equally talented behind a cue. Following the Cubs final World Series win in 1908, Kling won the world pocket billiards championship and opened a pool hall in his native Kansas City.
