A. "The Rocket" medal, small-scale issuing by Hecht. Silver.
The medal was issued in 1962 in honor of the launching of the "Shavit" satellite. The minting was done in two workshops: Moshe Hecht and Aminograph. A total of 580 medals were issued, of them 450 by Aminograph and 130 by Hecht. The inscription on the margins indicates who minted the medal.
The medal before us was minted by Moshe Hecht. That is, it is one of 130 medals only.
Diameter: 59 mm. Weight: 118 gram.
B. "Chassidei Umot Ha'Olam - Yad Vashem" medal. Bronze.
The medal was issued in 1965 and was minted by "Kritzmer and Sons". It was to be given to Righteous Gentiles (Chassidei Umot Ha'Olam). Marked margins (the State of Israel H+E, the emblem of Israel).
Diameter: 59 mm. Weight: 90 gram.
