Chenoch Hendel Lieberman (1900–1976), born Chenoch Hendel Futerfas, was an Orthodox Jewish Russian-born, Chabad Hassidic American artist. He was the brother of the famed Mashpia Rabbi Menachem Mendel Futerfas. Lieberman was known in the Chabad community as Feter Hendel ("Uncle Hendel").
He learned at the "Tomchei Temimim" yeshiva of Lubavitch and then studied art at the university. Later, he left the university but according to the instruction of the Rebbe Rashab continued to paint Jewish motifs.
In 1947, he left Russia to New York and became a household member of the Rebbe Rayatz.
Hendel Lieberman's art is noted for its depiction of Jewish and Hassidic life and customs. His paintings hang in a number of museums including the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, London’s Tate Gallery, and museums in Paris.
