Early 20th century AD. A mixed group of silver thimbles comprising: one tall with rows of starburst texturing, plain collar above a faceted rim, marked '7' (size), 'C.H' (Charles Horner?), lion passant, heater shield with sword between sheaves (Chester) and script 'G' for 1907; one similar with corrugated collar, marked 'H.C&S' (unidentified maker), an anchor (Birmingham), lion passant, heater shield with 'F' (1930), '12' (size); one similar with dimpled upper section, marked 'EFS', an anchor (Birmingham), lion passant, 'A' in a heater shield (1925), 16 (size); one similar, miniature, unmarked.
