Description
This is an early 20th century Plains Native American Indian quilled and beaded Strike-A-Lite bag. The bag shows a wonderful Indian brain tanned hide construction with porcupine quillwork in white, brown, and orange. The bag also shows chalk white pony trade glass beads and tin jingle cones with red dyed Buffalo hair accents. The piece is well preserved and displays exquisitely. The top strap shows a braided hide construction. Believed to be an early 1900 museum quality piece. Bag measures 3.5"W x 14"L.
