Description
President Richard Nixon's Bushnell 7x35 binoculars, used by him in 1953 when he was Grand Marshal of the Rose Parade, Pasadena. The binoculars are embossed as such, and are in a leather case with Nixon's name in gilt lettering on top. They are also accompanied by a card of provenance dated 1982 from his daughter, Julie Nixon Eisenhower, describing how her father gave them to her husband for the purpose of bird watching. With 13 Nixon buttons, 1 Goldwater bar pin.
