The 1966 Porsche 911 2.0 SWB was first delivered in the USA and proven to have been in the collection of a former pilot from New York since 1972. In 1973 a new paint job was carried out.

The original engine was also revised, otherwise the vehicle is original. The body is good and has uniform fits and gaps. The interior was always properly cared for. The vehicle was regularly maintained, there is an extensive service history. Also a Porsche Cardex-Data sheet is available, as well as original keys and tools. Recently, the vehicle was repainted in a high-quality paint finish by a Munich paint workshop in the original color Polorot (with photo documentation) as well as having been extensively technically reworked.

The Porsche 911 was presented in 1963 at the International Motor Show Germany as the successor of the Porsche 356. The name was first ‘901’, but as it was a trademark by Peugeot it had to be changed und the car was introduced as ‘911’ into the market by 1964. It was available as Coupe, Targa and convertible. The ‘G’ model was built till 1989 and was later replaced by the ‘694’ type. (nlu)
