The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was built in 1962 and first approved in Germany on the 23rd March 1966. The vehicle until now has only been registered in Germany. The vehicle, made on the 12.03.1962 in Goslar, is one of the last produced 190 SL series. The engine of the 190 SL has matching numbers.

It was extensively restored in 2001. The interior and the soft top were remade. The Solex-Carburetor system was overhauled. The vehicle has old and new German documents, a first copy and a copy of the data card as well as a vehicle certificate. The 190 SL has special equipment, which is listed in the vehicle certificate. The vehicle has a general inspection certificate.

Mercedes-Benz 190 SL

190 SL was the sales designation of the legendary Mercedes-Benz cabriolet with a four cylinder engine. The internal designation of this type series was W121. It was built between 1955 and 1963. Versions with a coupe roof were also available. As far as its technique is concerned, it is based on the Ponton sedan. The 190 SL was supposed to take after its big brother, the 300 SL gullwing doors. Its performance, however, was a lot lower, 105 hp in comparison with 215 hp. In its brochures Daimler-Benz described the 190 as 'touring sports car'. (ala)
