These delicately detailed botanical etchings are elaborately hand-colored and framed in an unusual combination of decorative matting and floral-finished frame molding. The etchings are re-strikes of 19th century plates by V. Cioni, and printed on a fiber-textured hand-made paper. They are framed as-found in beautiful custom frames. The mattes are acid-free and manufactured to resemble old foxed mattes. The frame backing is a composite board covered with an aluminum film to keep out humidity.
