Magnificent Italian Palladio C.18th century wooden wall console or shelf is hand carved with aged verdigris swags and garlands ending with a claw foot at either end. A gilt thick upper lip holds the removable curved glass shelf. Two holes on back for holding large head nails for attachment to wall. Small bits of the carvings are missing from age with a wonderful patina to the overall piece, adding to the character of the wall bracket. Plate on the back as well as paper sticker displays "Palladio". Measures 29 L X 9.5 H X 10.25 D.
