Colonel PIERRE LONG, who would later participate at the battle of Fort Anne in the Saratoga Campaign, pens a three-line receipt for funds paid to him: "…for the use of my Regiment while stationed at Piscatogue Harbour…& my expences Twice to Boston for Money to pay my Regiment…". Some toning, else very good.
