SAMUEL DICK
(1740 – 1812) American physician who was a delegate for New Jersey to the Confederation Congress in 1784 and 1785. He also served in the state militia during the Revolution with the 2nd New Jersey Regiment and served as a surgeon in the withdrawal from Quebec. Group of three A.E.S. as Register of the Orphans Court on a single document, 1p. folio, New Jersey, 1789, his attestations as to the accuracy of the accounting of the estate of one Dr. Noah Hart. A few professionally repaired fold splits, with a chip at bottom, else fine.
