Walnut PA Chippendale tall case clock, containing a brass dial English 8 day movement, with an articulated nodding blackamoor head in the arch that beats with the seconds, the broken scroll bonnet with carved rosettes, brass ball and spire finials, and flanked by turned columns, the figured walnut waist door with tombstone top, flanked by inset fluted quarter columns, the base with a well shaped turtle panel also flanked by inset quarter columns, all raised on OG feet, 96" tall, c 1760-80
