A circa 1900 French enameled gilt brass rococo style clock set retailed by Spaulding and Co, Chicago. The circular dial with Roman chapter enclosing twin key escapements within a glazed hinged door and parcel gilt domed shaped case with all over champlevé enameled designs, surmounted by a shaped arched bonnet centering a seated figure of Cupid with flaming torch. The time and strike movement signed Japy Freres. Together with a pair of urn-form two handled vases of matching champlevé enamel designs, the whole raised on scrolling acanthus cast feet. The clock measures 17 x 8 x 4 inches and the urns measure 10.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 inches each.
