A Chinese spinach green jade koro and matched Mughal style cover, Qianlong period, the cover with double fluting and pierced knop carved with lotus and fleurs de lis, the base section carved with tao-tie mask handles and archaic tao-tie motifs, 12cm high x 13cm wide, on later hardwood stand Provenance: Purchased from Sydney L. no damage noted. we have noted that the cover is probably not original to the base, but at some stage they have been matched. The receipt from Sydney Moss describes exactly the two pieces which constitute the lot here. The original receipt accompanies this lot
