Upper case is associated, and perhaps late 19th c.; pediment lacking finial, hinges to upper glazed doors re-set/replaced, glazing is old wavy glass, desk interior intact with repair to one bracket and all pulls, desk lock, hinges and left loper (lacks pull) replaced; Shrinkage cracks to desk fall front (right near hinge and horizontally across center, vertical shrinkage to left side of lower case; All handles and escutcheons replaced; One escutcheon broken; feet replaced; later varnished surface.
