Shirley Temple The Only Three Time Grand Marshal Rose Parade Collection (1939-99)

A sizeable collection of memorabilia documenting Shirley Temple's involvement in the Tournament of Roses Parade, serving as Grand Marshal in 1939, 1989 and 1999, an unprecedented three times. A rare legacy for any individual, this group includes a number of vintage photographs of Shirley as Grand Marshal from the 1939 parade which was the 50th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade as well as two large framed full color photographs of Shirley in the 1989 Centennial 100th Tournament of Roses Parade and the 1999 parades, attractively framed to an overall 22" X 26"; a color photograph showing Shirley as the Grand Marshal of the 110th parade in 1999, beautifully framed to an overall 20.5" x 24.5" together with three Grand Marshal ribbons from the 1939, 1989 and 1999 parades which document her achievement as the only individual to serve as the Grand Marshall in three separate parades.
