That fact should be evident from the many personal items with connections to that relationship that appear in this auction. Unlike sports memorabilia casually autographed to then be sold to collectors, this glove went from one friend to another.

Importantly, this lot also includes an 11 x 14in. photograph taken during the prime of Muhammad Ali's career showing the Champ with Neil Leifer and inscribed to Leifer by Ali.
