Description
The larger is a child doll with head incised "109" and body stamped in red "Handwerck". She has brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with four upper teeth, fully jointed wood and composition body, and wears an antique auburn mohair wig over cardboard pate (not removed). The dress is white cotton and lace and is antique. The smaller doll is a character baby with head incised "A985 M. Germany" and has wide blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with two upper teeth and separately molded tongue tip, deep dimples in cheeks, and is on the original five piece bent-limb body wearing an antique blonde mohair. Also wearing antique period clothing with lace bonnet. (Very Good). Largest: 21'' T.
