Â
*Note: While various arguments can be made to the contrary, designs and coloration more often found in 18th century cloisonne enamel feature a distinctive decoration and a lighter hue of coloration, not featured on this lot. This object also features a beautifully orchestrated design of Chrysanthemums underside, more in line with similar decoration found in works associated to the Ming Dynasty. Â As such, this lot is either an 18th century copy in homage of the cloisonne works of the Ming period, or a genuine piece from the Ming period. As such we have designated this piece to be 18th century or before.Â
