This "Daisy Fly Killer"is circa 1912. It was made to catch flies and kill them with Lead Arsenate Bait. The flies were lured to the corks that were placed in the holes. The corks absorbed the toxic solution that was house in the decorative tin below. Remember, these were the days when the fly was blamed for carrying the germs that spread Typhoid Fever and even Tuberculosis. The "Daisy Fly Killer" motto? "The only good fly is a dead fly."
