9-1/2" x 12-1/2" wooden frame under glass, containing an array of 25 pinback items. Includes portrait, jugate, and slogan celluloid buttons [sizes from 1/2" diameter to 1-1/4" diameter]. Features: 1.) Colorful 1-1/4" WW I victory button imprinted "Our Victorious Leaders" featuring portraits depicting [clockwise from lower left] "King Emanuel / Italy," "King George / England," "Pres. Wilson / United States," "Pres. Poincare / France," and "King Albert / Belgium." 2.) 1-1/4" photographic portrait button with imprinted legend "Inauguration 1913 / Washington D.C." 3.) Two 7/8" jugates with imprints "They have kept the faith we'll stand by them / America First" and a rebus "Vote for [portraits] and America First." All items personally selected and arranged by APIC Charter Member Monroe D. Ray, New York.
Condition
Few pieces bear foxing, soiling and stains, mostly very good condition.
