Italian Carved Walnut Sacristy Cabinet, 17th century, the rectangular top banded and above a case fitted with three frieze drawers and two small end drawers, over two cabinet doors, each with a carved scene of St. George and the Dragon, centered by a recessed arched panel with a deeply-carved draped figure, above a carved and molded plinth base, the whole finely carved in masque, foliate and geometric patterns, h. 42", w. 79-1/2", d. 24".

In overall good condition. Old professional repairs throughout, with some filler to areas of shrinkage. Old insect holes to both side panels. Good patina and surface color. Small losses to the carved beaded molding around the right door panel. Very well carved.
