Item Details
Description
A vintage National resonator owned by Johnny Winter. Etchings of island images on both sides of the instrument are in reference to the Hawaiian-style music that became popular during the early 20th century. The Style O was designed in the '30s to give greater volume and playability than the more traditional wooden-bodied guitars intended for Hawaiian-style playing. Serial No. S4476. Wooden fretboard and headstock, nickel-plated brass body.
