signed ''Paolo Seguso/Murano/1993/90/99'', and also with a Murano glass label, Seguso Viro, Incalmo, of flattened teardrop form in seafoam green with a band of filigrana, 15.25 H x 10.5 W x 4 D, est:$800/1200. Note: A vase from this series (40/99) was sold Dan Ripley's, Indianapolis, 23 September 2007, lot 248 ($1,350). Giampaolo Seguso, son of Archimede Seguso, was born in Venice on November 17, 1942. Giampaolo apprenticed and worked with his father for thirty years. He is a meticulous glass artist and all of his work involves innovation and extensive research, some of which were captured in ''L'Incalmo'' and ''La Ragnatela'' by Dottissa Rosa Barovier Mentasi. He and his sons now work in the Seguso studio in Murano and created the firm of Seguso Viro. Provenance: Property of a Private Santa Barbara, CA Collector
