This is the scarcest of the Humpty Dumpty Circus show wagons - such wagons were important components of the Grand Entry Procession - a parade around the big top which featured clowns and others in grotesque oversize parade masks; as with all of the Schoenhut circus wagons the sides are decorated with gold and red painted embossed paper mache panels and decorated wagon wheels, it is drawn by a pair of glass eyed horses mounted on a green painted wheeled platform and they retain what appears to be all original tack; riding on the wagon are 3 figures with oversize painted paper mache heads: a baby (redressed, paint touchup on nose), a jockey, and the famous comic character Foxy Grandpa (very minor touchup on face); the driver wears the same uniform as the Schoenhut bandsmen and a replacement helmet
