Ben Wahhh
Ben Wahhh began apprenticing in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois under Nick Wiggins in 1993, after working toward an art degree that left him with some uncertainty. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Wahhh moved to North Chicago and began work with Bob Olson at Custom Tattoo. Shortly after his big move, Ben opened his own shop named Deluxe Tattoo in 1997. Working with other esteemed contemporaries such as Guy Aitchison and Kim Saigh, Ben was surprised to find that most customers seeking tattoos thought they were limited to smaller pieces known as Flash Art. Although he does Flash work if that's what is requested, Wahhh prefers unique custom pieces in his signature Biomechanical style aptly named "Biowreck."
