Marie Weger Kleinbardt: Distinguished, award winning artist Marie Weger was born in Munich Germany, in December of 1882 and lived to the age of 98. She started training in Munich under the tutelage of her father Max Weger and Wilhelm Von Dietz, close friend of Mr. Weger and associate at the Academy of Arts, continuing her formal studies with Professor Paul Nauen. After immigrating to the United States in 1930 with her husband, Ernest S. Kleinbardt they lived in New York State and Connecticut. Her most notable works include of portraits, floral and still life reveal a strong sense of composition, color and tonal brilliance. Her works are in both public and private collections in both the United States and Europe. {MM} (FRED903)
