A fixture on the Arizona-California drag racing scene during the late 1960’s and 1970’s, this original steel bodied roller was the basis for drag racing’s West Coast Gasser track record holding A/G dragster. Included with the Willys is a well-documented binder outlining the comprehensive original build history as well as photos of it racing and magazine articles outlining the components used in its construction. Described by Drag Racer magazine as one of the most beautiful Gassers ever to set foot on the West Coast drag circuit, the Willys is ready to be restored to its original period and livery or to be built to the next owner’s wishes. Born from an original southwest 1941 Willys, this all steel coupe has never seen rust or bondo. It is rare that an all steel bodied, gasser chassis, with record setting history is available to market, particularly as well documented as this 1941 Willys.
