1973 Schering Pharmaceutical PreColumbian Statue Reproducations, tallest measures 5,25''H x 2.75'' X 2.75'', These pottery figures were issued by the Schering Pharmaceutical Company in about 1973, to promote Schering products. Each piece is a museum reproduction of a pottery piece from the Colima culture of Mexico. The original clay sculptures are about 1500 years old and show individuals with various medical disorders. There are 4 on wooden stands and on the back of each base it lists the Shering Drug which will take care of the medical problem. #1 Front reads: Male Figure with Skin Lesions Colima, Mexico--ca. 400-800 A.D. and back reads Schering Valisone Cream #2 Front reads: Portrait of Anxiety/Depression Tlatilco, Mexico--c. 1300-700 B.C. and back reads: Schering Etrafon #3 Mochica Drinking Vessel depicting Leishmaniasis Northern Peru--800-1000 A.D. and back reads: Schering Garamycin Cream & Ointment #4 Mochica Medicine Man Northern Peru--ca. 800-1000 A.D. and back reads: Schering Tinactin Cream & Solution Garamycin Cream & Ointment Fulvicin U/F Tablets The other 6 statues are missing their wooden bases. Each reproduction piece was used to promote various Schering Pharmaceuticals.
