Ferjo's deep, nautical blues contrast with the naturalistic stone interior in this homage to Dali.  A large painting dominates the area behind a black baby grand piano, while a sinuous staircase leads upward.  In this topsy-turvy scene, Ferjoâ's imagination i the only guide. Ferjo (born in 1946 as Fernando de Jesus Oliveira, Bahia, Brazil) studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts as an exchange student.  Ferjo won the New York Council for the Arts Award in Portraiture.
