Condition
"Marked and dated examples were always of interest to us. We bought this plate in 1974 at Skinner's, as one of the interesting experiments conducted at the Chelsea works by Hugh Robertson, before the move to Dedham, but have not yet identified 'EAL.' Josephine Day, Hugh Robertson's student and sister-in-law, was one of the few artists outside the Robertson family to design art ware."
