Early 19th century oil on canvas painting attributed to the Hudson River School, in the manner of Thomas Cole. Does not appear to be signed. Canvas has been waxed, re-lined and re stretched. Condition: consistent craquelure to oils, minor discoloration to some pigments, slight cracking to canvas where it folds around corner of stretcher frame (top edge), see images. Canvas measures 14" x 10", and frame measures 21.25" wide x 17.25" tall. Weight: approx. 10 lbs.
