As described by Daniel Friedenberg: "Coptic tapestry woven textile fragment ca. 6th-7th C. AD. Woven against the natural ground in black and red depicting dancing frontal figures accompanied by lions with floral motifs in the field.
Textile is 7.5" x 10" inches framed size is 13.25 x16 ".
